Macro flowers. They sure are pretty. They're also amazingly boring. Once you've seen 5 you've seen every single one that could ever be photographed for the rest of time. Please move on to new subject matter.
I disagree. I like macro flowers. I've got tons of 'em. Just because you don't like 'em dosent mean the rest of the world should'nt either.
Flowers is still the best way to test out color, setting, composition, etc. etc. How many kids that you know that come in color, willing to sit still, and not complain? Yes, I guess we can hire professional models, but flowers would be the next best thing and free!
I have nothing wrong if anyone takes macro-flowers; great for testing, color, composition or whatever, but if its ALL that you do, then I do have a problem because you're really exploring all the dynamics of becoming a better photographer. A photographer constantly explores new ways to capture a moment that says more than merely what you see. Otherwise its just a snapshot.
